1. Piedmont Park

Most of the time when you think of a metropolitan area like Atlanta, you imagine congested side-walks, loads of people, and traffic. That’s why Piedmont Park is the perfect place to visit next time you’re in Atlanta, being the total escape from stereotypical city-like attractions. Only about a mile northeast of downtown, Piedmont is 189 acres of release that anyone in the city needs from time to time. A few popular attractions of the park include the Blue Donkey coffee stand, the many concerts that are held there, a dog park, and community pool that allows anyone who pays a small fee to access and escape from the summer heat. Besides all of the resources available at the park, the view that surrounds it is one to die for.

2. Ponce City Market/The Beltline

Anyone who is looking to visit Atlanta is usually looking for the hottest spots to shop, and the most appealing sights to see, which is why Ponce City Market and the Beltline are must-visits. Ponce is a historical development that includes shopping, a food hall, and housing. The restaurants hold a variety of different and delicious foods, while the shops are stylish, modern, and not usually available many places elsewhere. Once you’ve indulged in Ponce’s shopping and food hall, you can take step out of the door and onto the Beltline. Atlanta’s Beltline is a trail that lingers for miles, holding great amounts of artwork on either side, making your bike ride, walk, etc. all the more interesting.
